It is an accepted fact that in recent past vears Korea has produced several of the bast archers in the world. They have won more medals in Olympic and world competition than any other country, and have continually set new world records. The great success of the Korean archers is not due to dome magical potion; it isn't even a secret. The key elements to success are attitude, proper shooting technique, and a real desire tho be the best. You bring the attitude and the desire to "Coach Kim" and he will teach you the proper shooting technique.

Mr. KIM Hyung Tak has 35 years of coaching experience. During this period he has not only produced dome of the worlds top ranked archers, but has trained many of the Korean national coaches. He was Coach of the Korea Women Team from 1983-1986, leading the team to Korea's first ever gold medal in archery. He was head coach for the national team of Chinese Taipei from 1989 to 1996, leading them to medals in both the Asia Games and World Indoor and Outdoor Championshops. He has served as Chairman of the Association of Korea Archery Coaches and is a member of the FITA Coaches Committee. Coach Kim is fluent in Chinese, English, and Japanese and conducts training in either of these languages.

Mr.KIM Hyung Tak is running an archery center located in a beautiful area in Goesan, Korea, at about a 3 hour drive from the capital city of Seoul.

The real beauty of the center is the shooting range. On the same venue you have side by side an archery target range and a traditional Korean Archery range. On this latest you shoot over a nice Asian type garden.
During winter archers stand inside a heated semi-rigid building and shoot through windows at up to 90 meters. 40 archers can shoot on the same shooting line..
Some facilities of physical education are available around the training center. A state of the art camera system and software package is used to film each archer's shooting form at the start of training and several times during training. This provides an excellent tool for analyzing form and discussing necessary changes. This service remains available to all Coach Kim's students throughout their archery career at no charge; even when they are no longer at the center. Simply film your shooting and send it to Coach Kim for a free analysis.

Mr.KIM Hyung Tak makes specific programs for teams in accordance with their objective(s) and level of performance.
For individual archer, Mr.KIM designs a training program related to the period of training When archers and coach come together, Mr.KIM educates the coach to train archers, by sharing his coaching methods. In case that only one coach visits the train center, he also guides the visitor on how to coach. If several coaches come, Mr.KIM organizes a seminar and carry out the education of coaches and award them with level 1,2 or 3 certificates issued by the training center.

There are 8 rooms in the center which can accommodate up to 3 persons each. The rooms are Asian style, you sleep on futons. They are air conditioned and a bathroom in the room. You can have meal at the restaurants located around the training center.
